We will also never send you spam emails. MARKETING & NEWSLETTER EMAILS

We will only send you marketing updates and newsletters via email if you have explicitly agreed to receive such emails. We will send you marketing updates and newsletters to keep you updated on ongoing MGG developments, information relating to new MGG products and promotions, etc. You can update your preferences at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of every email that we send you. Once unsubscribed, your email address will usually be removed immediately from our marketing database and, henceforth, you will no longer receive marketing updates from us. Nevertheless, please allow up to 48 hours for any changes to be implemented.

ADVERTISING

We may ‘retarget’ you across the internet with specific advertisements for MGG products and releases, so as to keep you aware of what we are up to and to enable you to discover our latest products (those are the advertisements which seem to follow you around once you leave a website!).

This may, for example, be because you visited our website, followed us on social media, or because you match our current demographic. We use a variety of technologies for this such as cookies, pixels, tags and mobile identifiers, among others.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We regularly review the data that we hold and delete anything which we no longer require. We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this document, and for as long as the law requires us to. If you contact our customer support team, we will keep your data for as long as is necessary to assist you with your query and for statistical and/or analytical purposes. These purposes may include reviewing data on orders, returns, refunds, etc. We will keep your email data until you unsubscribe. We will keep your feedback data for two years. We will delete access log data after 30 days.

WHERE YOUR DATA IS PROCESSED AND STORED

Unless otherwise stated, all data is stored in either Switzerland or the European Economic Area (EEA). Data processed by Amazon Web Services®, Apple Pay®, Craft CMS®, Google Analytics®, Google Pay®, Klaviyo®, Odoo®, PayPal®, Stripe®, and any other similar suppliers that we use who are based in the US or elsewhere, may be transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA for processing.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right, free of charge, to receive information about the data that we hold on you and how we process such data. We are also obliged, at your request, to replenish, rectify, anonymise or delete, any incomplete, incorrect, unnecessary or outdated personal data which we hold on you. You can exercise your rights and access your data by emailing us at support@mgg.ski.

You may object to the processing of your personal data and withdraw consent for us to process your data at any time. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any data processing carried out on the basis of your consent in the period before such consent was withdrawn.

You also have the right to stop receiving emails from us, which you can opt out of – to do so, please click on ‘Unsubscribe’, which is included as a link in the footer of every email that we send you. However, please note that if you do opt out of our marketing emails, we will continue to send you emails relating to any orders (e.g. order confirmations, order tracking information, etc.).

OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY

We are committed to doing all that we can to keep your data secure. To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent and minimise risks associated with providing and processing personal data.
